Maybe it was you? You worked hard.
ACCURACY vs CONSISTENCY.
They both have a level of importance.
However, you can be as accurate as you possibly can, but without consistency you'll fail to reap the benefits of your efforts.
Tracking food and tracking calories expended during exercise are two things that we often find end up being inaccurate most of the time...
but does this matter?
Not if we are consistently inaccurate.
When looking to achieve results in the form of your body composition, what we need to look at its progression. That's what it all comes down to.
Progressing your training, progressing your nutrition.
So wether or not you burn 232 calories instead of the 200 calories the treadmill is telling you, or 189, it doesn't really matter.
You progress the '200' that the treadmill says to 300 and no matter what, you're likely to have increased your calorie burn by 100.
Only if you've consistently been doing so.
That's just one example. Moral of the story, be consistent.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
The time spent thinking about unnecessary detail could be time spent doing.
